On Monday, July 3, 2017 at about 7:15AM EDT, an inbound WMATA Red Line Train, Train 115 overran the Medical Center Platform by approximately one door and was instructed not to service Medical Center and to continue to Bethesda where an outbound train was held to take any passengers back to Medical Center that needed to exit.
