On Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at about 2:30 PM EDT, WMATA Green Line Train 508 (AIMS 139) traveling to Branch Avenue station experienced a reported uncommanded door operation on one or more door leafs while in motion on car 3054. This occurred at some point between Anacostia and Naylor Road stations. There were no injuries to passengers and the train was removed from service and sent to a rail yard for further investigation by WMATA.
